About good grief dear

What we do...

We received a comment recently and that our name doesn't really say what it is we do, and it was difficult to understand...so, to hopefully explain, the name has been borne from time standing still in our grief from loss whilst the world still turns, all of sudden there are 'Good Grief' moments where we realise what time it is and how many hours have passed in our sadness and pain, this is also one of the reasons why we use the strapline 'it's time for'...

We are able to provide services in relation to estate management, we have also been actively fundraising and organising community engagement events to raise awareness around grief, loss and bereavement, and have also provided groups of support led by a professional bereavement facilitator. Our aim is to offer what we can for free, to engage with the community and support people that need it during difficulties and loss.  This has been helped by a small grant from Redrow Housing to be able to host our website (we know not everyone has access or chooses to use social media), and support our groups.  We also had a helping hand from Langar cum Barnstone Parish Council to provide our flag ship community event Time for Tea in July 2024 & DDL Precision Ltd

We recognise loss in many forms and are currently developing our pet loss support for 2025 which is being supported by Happy Henny After

Creative Writing Therapy
